Bound apprentice to Charles Hitch 4 February 1752; subsequently turned over to his father Richard Ware, 3 March 1752, who died in August 1756; Richard II was freed by Charles Hitch 6 March 1759.

Died on Sunday night [11 May] at his apartments near Bermondsey-Spa, Mr. Richard Ware, senior, formerly a wholesale stationer in the city, but had retired (Daily Advertiser 13 May 1783)
