T. Thomson

T. Thomson, a fictitious bookseller whose name stood for those of Thomas Astley, bookseller in St. Paul's Churchyard, and James Watson, printer and publisher, Wardrobe Court, Great Carter Lane, who pirated John Gay's Polly in 1729.
