LICHFIELD (LEONARD), the second, printer in Oxford, Holywell, 1657–86. See Dictionary, 1641–67. Succeeded his father as University Printer in 1657, and was appointed printer of the Oxford Gazette in 1665. In December 1679 he was a candidate for the yeoman bedelship. He died of a fever February 22nd, 1686 [Wood, III. 180], and was succeeded by his son Leonard III.
