• Porny, Mr.. The elements of heraldry, containing the definition, origin, and historical account of that ancient, useful, and entertaining science. The divers sorts of coats-of-arms in use; with their essential and integral parts displayed separately. The several marks whereby bearers of the same coat-of-arms are distinguished from each other. The different kinds of tinctures, lines, figures, charges, and ornaments, used for coats-of-arms. The laws of heraldry; practical directions for marshalling coats-of-arms, and the order of precedence.
