In this state, the author's name is mispelled "Thompson" on the titlepage to 'The castle of indolence', p.[82] of 'The castle of indolence' is blank, and p. 40 and p. 56 of 'Coriolanus' have catchwords "And" and "From", respectively

The title and contents were probably printed by William Bowyer; his records show 200 copies printed of 'Titles to Thompson's [sic] works, red & black, 4 pages', for Millar, entered in January 1749.
