The defence made by John Ambrose, Esq; late captain of His Majesty's ship the Rupert, on his trial at the Court-Martial, holden on Board the London, at Chatham-Dock, September 23d, continued by several Adjournments, and still sitting. Faithfully taken, as it was delivered by the Captain on Monday the fourth day of November, 1745. Together with the sentence that was passed on him by the Court-Martial.
