Foxon suggests that this may be the edition entered in the records of William Bowyer at 20 March 1740 as 'Poem on ye death of Dr. Swift', 500 copies printed for Bathurst, and dates it '[1740?]'. However, the ornament is one not found elsewhere in works printed by Bowyer
