To be sold, by virtue of a commission from the High Court of Admiralty, on Monday the thirteenth day of January, 1745-6, at ten o'clock in the morning, at the house of Mr. Joseph Lunn, known by the sign of the King's-Arms, on the point at Portsmouth. The ship Alexander, burthen about 375 tons, and 18 carriage and 4 swivel guns, with her tackle, apparel, and furniture, now lying in Portsmouth harbour, which ship was re-taken by the auxiliary ship of war belonging to their high mightinesses the States General of the United Netherlands, called the Assendelft, Capt. John Boudaen, commander. At the same time and place will be sold a horse or gelding, taken in the said ship. The said ship to be viewed, and inventories to be delivered, on application to Mr. James Bucknall and Mr. John Rickman, merchants, in Portsmouth.
