A reissue of the 1682 edition with a general title page and initial advertisement leaf added. The 1739 4th edition (ESTC T142997) mentions "the folio edition printed in 1682, which was republished in Jan. 1688-9". See also The Historical magazine and notes and queries concerning ... America. New York, 1860. Vol.4, p.154. (available via Google Books) -- "The edition of 1682 was, however, mainly suppressed until 1689, after the Revolution, when it was reissued with [an] additional general title-page"
