The folded plates, each, consist of a numbered and titled bifolium, with description and numbering on outer pages and map on inner pages: "The generall description of the vvorld." (no. 1-2), "The description of Evrope." (no. 7-8), "The description of Asia." (no. 3-4), "The description fo Africa." (no. 5-6), and "The description of America." (no. [9]-10).
Books 1-3, the two parts of book 4, and the appendix have each a separate title pages, with imprints "... for Philip Chetwind, 1665." (books 1 and 3), "... by T.R. for Philip Chetwind, 1665." (book 2), "... for Philip Chetwinde, 1662." (book 4, pt. 1), and "... for Philip Chetwind." [no date] (book 4, pt. 2).
