- 'Six lessons to the professors of the mathematiques' has a separate titlepage, bearing the imprint: "London, printed by J. M. for Andrew Crook, at the Green-Dragon, in Pauls Church-yard" and with separate pagination and register.
'Six lessons to the professors of the mathematiques' is a reply to 'Elenchus geometri¾ Hobbian¾' by John Wallis and 'In Thom¾ Hobbii philosophiam exercitatio epistolica' by Seth Ward.
Although the two parts are listed separately in Wing, there is no evidence to suggest that they were issued separately.
