Recalls an Act by Queen Elizabeth which commands that if any subject not in orders being a student of a foreign Jesuit college or seminary shall not return within six months of Proclamation under the Great Seal in London, and take the oath of supremacy, he shall be judged a traitor on his return. All subjects are to return. Guardians, &c., are to enforce return, and not to support them abroad. - Steele
