- "The rebellion in Ireland, fostered by the French king who is desirous of turning it into a province, has brought on war with France. A general fast and day of humiliation for pardon and protection is ordered to be kept throughout Ireland on Wednesday, 25 June next, and on every third Wednesday till the end of the War.
