- Note
- In four parts; 'Paradise regain'd', 'Samson Agonistes', 'Comus' and 'Poems on several occasions' each have separate titlepages, pagination and register.
'A tractate of education' has a separate titlepage, but is included in the pagination and register of 'Poems on several occasions'.
- Uncontrolled note
- Gaskell does not include 'Comus' as part of this work (Gaskell 90). As all other editions of 'Paradise regain'd' include 'Comus', Gaskell's separation seems wrong
