Part II has a separate titlepage and an initial advertisement leaf

Part III has a separate titlepage dated 1733, on the verso of which is the note. "The author of those remarks having cause'd the preface and a few pages of the remarks to be reprinted, with some alterations, they are stitch'd up with this third part, that those who have bough the former parts, may cancel the others, and place these in the room of them."

This is followed by a collective titlepage entitled: 'A review of the text of the twelve books of Milton's Paradise lost: .. ', London, 1733 for insertion, at the beginning, after the removal of the part titlepages and a new preface. The five altered leaves, sigs.Q7(pp.229-230), G6,7(pp.91-94), I7(pp.125-1 and Q2(pp.219-220), to cancel those in parts I and II are bound after p.400

Variant; the individual titlepages to each part and the original preface have been cancelled, and replaced by the collective titlepage and new preface. Sigs.Q7,G6,7,I7,Q2 and cancels.
