Note from the catalogue card at Leeds University: "This copy, as all others known, has a slip pasted to p. 12 containing the additional air 'Pow'rful guardians'. According to W. Dean (Handel's dramatic oratorios and masques) this air, taken from 'Alexander Balus', was added t this work by Handel in about 1751; and the libretto was issued in this form probably for the revival in 1755".
