A course of lectures on the theory and practice of midwifery: In which every thing essential to the true knowledge of that art will be fully explained and clearly demonstrated. The osteology of the female pelvis. Of the organs of generation; the theory of conception; and of the nutrition of the foetus in utero. The several parts will be shewn in their natural situation, with physiological observations on their structure and use. The pathology or general doctrine of the acute and chronical diseases incident to women and children; including their nature, causes, distinctions, and symptoms; together with practical observations and remarks on their treatment and cure.
