Sir, you are particularly requested to attend a court of lieutenancy, to be held at the Guildhall, London, on Thursday next, the 20th instant, at one o'clock precisely, to take into consideration the steps necessary to be adopted by the court of lieutenancy, in consequence of the resolution of the Artillery Company not to permit the use of the artillery-ground for the London militia. On the other side I have the honor to transmit you a copy of the proceedings relative to the business. I am, Sir, your most obedient humble servant, Edward Grose Smith, clerk & treasurer.
