- Note
- Concerning the raising of two regiments, under William Shirley and Sir William Pepperrell, to relieve the soldiers at Louisburg.
Dated 1745 by Bristol and Ford. However, since Pepperrell was not made a baronet until August 1745, the letter was apparently written in February 1746, according to the new style calendar.
Possibly printed by John Draper who was the official printer for Governor Shirley and the province of Massachusetts in 1746.Citation/references Bristol, B1286
