James Fletcher junior, bookseller and publisher, 1756–1772; in Paternoster Row; in St. Paul's Churchyard; 72 St Paul's Churchyard. Traded as J. Fletcher and Co., 1764–1768. Son of James Fletcher, senior. In partnership with his father, as well as with John and James Rivington.

FLETCHER (JAMES), junior, bookseller in Oxford, The Turl, 1756–96. Son of James Fletcher, senior. Became "privilegiatus bookseller" on February 13th, 1756/7. [Foster's Alumni.] For some years in partnership with James Rivington, of St. Paul's Churchyard. In partnership with his father. Died May 20th, 1798, aged 67. [Timperley, 1842, pp. 798–9.] A book by Wesley is advertised as printed by William Pine, Bristol, and sold by Fletcher & COmp., St. Paul's Churchyard.
